This AI Content and Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy (“AI Policy”) explains how TalkRally (“TalkRally,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses artificial intelligence (“AI”), machine learning systems, generative AI technologies, automated decision-making systems, and AI-generated content in connection with our websites, applications, products, services, communities, communications, and related platforms (collectively, the “Services”), including talkrally.com.
This AI Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that AI technologies may be used in connection with your interactions with TalkRally.
1. Purpose of This AI Policy
The purpose of this AI Policy is to:
- Provide transparency regarding TalkRally’s use of AI technologies;
- Explain how AI-generated content may be created, used, and displayed;
- Describe user responsibilities regarding AI usage and AI-generated material;
- Outline data processing practices involving AI systems;
- Address legal, ethical, safety, and fairness considerations;
- Comply with evolving AI-related laws and regulations.
2. AI Technologies Used by TalkRally
TalkRally incorporates a variety of AI and machine learning technologies, including:
- Generative AI systems and large language models (LLMs);
- Automated moderation and content classification tools;
- Recommendation engines and personalization systems;
- Natural language processing (NLP), translation, and summarization tools;
- Predictive analytics, fraud detection, and security systems;
- Image, audio, or video analysis/generation systems (where offered);
- Ranking, search, and behavioral analytics systems.
These systems may be developed internally or provided by trusted third-party service providers. All third-party AI providers are contractually required to maintain appropriate data protections consistent with our Privacy Policy.
3. Our Use of AI on TalkRally
We use AI to enhance the Services in the following ways:
- Content Moderation: Detecting spam, harassment, hate speech, illegal content, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Personalization: Recommending discussions, content feeds, search results, and user connections.
- User Tools: Generating summaries, topic suggestions, translations, automated responses, and assistive features.
- Platform Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns, improving performance, enhancing security, and detecting fraud/abuse.
- Other Features: Automated tagging, trend detection, and accessibility improvements.
User Content and AI Training: User-generated content (posts, comments, messages) and interactions with AI features may be used to improve our models. We prioritize privacy and only use data in ways permitted by law. Detailed information is available in our Privacy Policy, including any opt-out options where available.
4. AI-Generated Content
Certain content on the Services may be AI-generated, AI-assisted, AI-enhanced, automatically summarized, translated, or categorized. This includes recommendations, search results, chat responses, summaries, images/graphics (where offered), and moderation actions.
Where required by law or where we deem appropriate, TalkRally will label or disclose AI-generated content.
5. Accuracy and Reliability Disclaimer
AI systems are probabilistic and may produce outputs that are inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or inappropriate. AI-generated content is provided for informational and convenience purposes only.
Users are solely responsible for independently verifying important information before relying on AI outputs. TalkRally does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.
AI-generated content must not be considered legal, financial, medical, professional, or emergency advice. Always consult qualified professionals for such matters.
6. User Responsibility for AI Usage and Transparency
Users are fully responsible for their use of AI-powered features and any content they post or share.
Transparency Requirements: You must clearly disclose when content you post is AI-generated or AI-assisted, particularly when it could reasonably be mistaken for human-created material (e.g., articles, significant posts, images, or videos).
Prohibited Uses of AI (aligned with our Terms of Service):
You may not use TalkRally’s AI systems or the Services to:
- Generate, promote, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that exploits minors (including fictional depictions);
- Create or spread illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful content;
- Produce deceptive synthetic media (deepfakes) intended to mislead about real people, events, or elections;
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or abuse;
- Violate intellectual property rights or submit infringing material;
- Impersonate others or engage in identity theft;
- Provide regulated professional advice without proper disclaimers and human oversight;
- Attempt to jailbreak, manipulate, or reverse-engineer AI systems;
- Conduct spam, scraping, malware distribution, or cyberattacks;
- Promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, or other dangerous activities;
- Violate applicable laws, export controls, or sanctions.
Violations may result in content removal, labeling, account restrictions, suspension, or termination.
7. Human Oversight and Moderation
We combine AI moderation tools with human review and community reporting. Automated systems help detect spam, abuse, fraud, and policy violations, but they are not perfect. TalkRally retains final authority over content and moderation decisions. Users may appeal certain decisions through our support channels.
8. AI and Personal Information
AI systems may process user prompts, messages, uploaded content, behavioral data, and technical information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, or regulated personal information into AI features unless specifically authorized.
9. Third-Party AI Providers
We may use third-party AI services subject to contractual safeguards. These providers have their own terms and policies. TalkRally is not responsible for the independent practices of third-party providers beyond our legal obligations.
10. AI Training and Model Improvement
We may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data, user feedback, and usage analytics to improve AI systems, develop new features, enhance safety, and optimize performance. We do not intentionally use personal information for training in ways prohibited by law and will obtain consent where legally required.
11. Intellectual Property and Synthetic Media
Users are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights to content submitted to AI systems. We prohibit the creation or distribution of deceptive deepfakes or synthetic media that cause harm, infringe rights, or violate the law. Such content may be removed or restricted, and labeling may be applied where required.
12. AI Bias, Fairness, and Automated Decision-Making
AI systems may reflect biases or produce inconsistent outcomes. We take reasonable measures to monitor, reduce harmful bias, and improve fairness and transparency. Where applicable law provides rights regarding automated decision-making, profiling, or algorithmic transparency (including rights to human review or appeal), users may contact us to exercise those rights.
13. AI Security and Abuse Prevention
We monitor AI usage for safety, fraud prevention, and platform integrity using rate limiting, content filtering, logging, and other measures. We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to AI features for violations or risk mitigation.
14. Children and AI Services
Our Services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use AI-enabled features without legally required parental consent. Additional protections apply to minors where required by law.
15. International AI Compliance
TalkRally intends to comply with applicable AI regulations, including (where relevant) the EU AI Act, GDPR, U.S. state AI and privacy laws, and other consumer protection requirements. We will update practices as laws evolve.
16. Changes to This AI Policy
We may update this AI Policy as technologies and regulations change. Material updates will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
